Milly the Ash S7 – Axe is falling

Milly The Ash,

Such a Magnificent and Majestic Tree on Millhouses Lane. 

Tomorrow she is due to be felled and all the many incredible, mostly unnoticed, benefits she currently provides our community with, will disappear into the back of a chipper forever.

It would be really great if enough people turned out throughout the day to show this sad, remote and out of touch council that this destructive and unsustainable  ‘replacement’ programme is unacceptable in a caring society. You simply cannot ‘replace’ a mature healthy tree.
