Sheffield Street Trees Legal Fund

Legal letters have been given or sent to several of our supporters today. This could be expensive because they intend to take people to the High Court on 12 July to request an injunction that will prevent them from taking part in direct action. SCC say this may lead to court charges and they may claim damages.

So we need to get legal advice and we may need to defend individuals in court. We are spending some of the money we collected earlier on a Barristers advice but we may need quite a lot more. Please give if you can, thanks

We need money to cover the legal costs of tree campaigners who are subjected to action in a civil or criminal court
